So, I know you all (all one of you, sadly) have been patiently waiting for an update in my life. And I have decided to comply. There have been a few momentous events which will each get a separate posting:
1. I turned 25.
2. My dad passed away.
3. I ran the Warrior Dash
Each of these changed my life in some way or another. In other areas, I have also pondered my job, or lack of exciting one. I am currently trying to figure out what to do. In general. Other events that have happened indirectly affecting me:
1. Our first "friends" baby (a baby by a couple we are friends with).
2. Two more babies were born into the family (Step-sister-in-law produced a sweet little girl named Anna and my Sister-in-law baked another sweet (I think, haven't met her yet) little girl named Madison)
3. Found out that other sister-in-law and step-brother's wife (step-sister-in-law?) are both pregnant.
So for the record, in case you feel like you have missed a post somewhere, this means that I, the only female left (besides the mother-in-law) is the only one not pregnant and not having just produced a baby. Pressure? Nah, not at all! Are you kidding me? My 5-year old nephew asked his mother at dinner one night (in front of EVERYONE), having just learned sister-in-law (Madison's mama) was pregnant "mommy, where's Nicky's baby?" his mother, glanced at me, smiled, and replied "well, sweetie, Ian (my husband) is Nicky's baby, she takes care of him." bless my nephew (all of them really, such smart little brats, i mean boys) rolled his eyes at his mother and said "no mommy, where's Nicky's REAL baby?" at this point the entire table has heard the exchange and is now looking at my husband and my lack of baby belly. sigh. at least the pressure isn't coming form a MIL or my mother.
check back soon for posts on the first 1-3.
