The answer is of course, no. But it does paint a nice picture of a child eating paint chips. Are they actual chips of paint or chips that look like paint. Ha. Ha. Get it? We're talking about paint now. Hubs decided it would be good to paint the bathroom after we demo it. Now don't go and get all excited, we haven't started demo, but he likes to be prepared. And I agree. So he went to Home Depot and brought home some paint samples. He tells me this while I'm reading on the couch. He says, "I'm going to go put these up so we can start pulling down the ones we don't like." I nod and mumble OK. I'm reading, don't disturb. Well, a little while later, I head upstairs to do something like laundry or some silly task. And get assaulted with this (well, it had a few more options up there but I didn't think to take a picture until after we had already started taking some down, but you get the general idea):
The current bathroom color is what someone might call lavender. We call it gross. It's just subtle enough to annoy you but not subtle enough for you to not notice. We think we are leaning toward a brown/beige or green color. Whatever we choose, it of course will have to go with the tile and the vanity. Get excited, the vanity is awesome, but that is for a later post. But as with everything else, hopefully we will decide soon or we will have paint and tile in our bathroom just hanging out until the New Year. Not something I particularly want.
You know, that could make for an awesome themed New Years Eve party. Finish our bathroom remodel and we'll supply you with beer and yummy snacks! Andy and I are pretty good at painting at midnight.
ReplyDeleteBut we don't want it to take that looooooong. (can you hear the whine?)
ReplyDeleteYou're providing wine too?? I'm totally there!
